Dr. Martin H. Devoto is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, specialist in eyelid, tear duct and orbital surgery. He validated his medical degree in the United States and in 1995 and 1996 he was a clinical-surgical Fellow at the University of Cincinnati where he did his training in this sub­specialty. Since 1995 he has been a member of the OP-hthalmological Consultants team and is a Consultant in Orbitopalpebral Oncology at the Angel Raffo Oncology Institute, University of Buenos Aires. He has given nearly 300 lectures at national and international congresses, and published more than 20 scientific papers in international journals. He is one of the authors of the American Academy of Ophthalmology study guides for residents of the United States. And he has been teaching courses at that institution for 7 years. He has received 2 important awards from this institution. In 2008, the Achievement Award, awarded for contributions as an author, course instructor, and member of educational material writing committees, and in 2007 the International Ophthalmology Education Award, awarded to recognize international members of the American Academy of Ophthalmologythat keep your update for life. Dr. Devoto is a member of the Argentine Society of Ophthalmology, the Argentine Council of Ophthalmology, the Pan­American Association of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Society of Ocularists and of the Orbital Society. He teaches at the Universidad del Salvador and the Universidad de Buenos in specialist courses in Ophthalmology in Oculoplastics and Orbit. Since 1999 Orbis International, United States, Visiting Professor. International Teaching Program, for developing countries. It takes place in a hospital plane that lands in needy areas.
