Robert M. Schwarcz, MD

Dr. Schwarcz completed the City University of New York seven-year combined BS/MD program and received his MD degree in Washington, DC. After completing his residency in New York at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Los Angeles to complete a two-year highly specialized surgical fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at the UCLA Medical Center, Jules Stein Eye Institute. During his fellowship, he focused on plastic surgery relating to eyelids, brow lifts, orbitals, and thyroid eye disease, as well as lacrimal surgeries. Afterward, he participated in a highly competitive two-year surgical fellowship, training with world-renowned cosmetic surgeons in Beverly Hills, California, in the discipline of cosmetic surgery with an emphasis on face lifting, neck lifting, rhinoplasty, fat transfer, liposuction, laser resurfacing, chemical peeling and many other cosmetic procedures. Dr. Schwarcz is one of only 650 surgeons nationwide to be admitted to the American Society of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS). He is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon, belonging to the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Ophthalmology, as well as a trustee of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.


Julie Falardeau, MD

Dr. Falardeau received her medical degree from University of Montreal and completed her ophthalmology residency at the same institution. She subsequently did a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. She returned to the University of Montreal for two years as an assistant professor of ophthalmology and then moved to Portland, Oregon. She is currently an associate professor of ophthalmology and works in the neuro-ophthalmology department at Casey Eye Institute.


Dr. Falardeau is a board certified ophthalmologist and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as member of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society. Her research interests include optic nerve imaging techniques and treatment of optic neuritis.
