Elisabeth Aponte, MD

Dr. Aponte is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and board certified cataract surgeon who obtained her medical degree at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, MN. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute.  Dr. Aponte subsequently pursued specialized medical and surgical training in glaucoma during her glaucoma fellowship at the University of Iowa. She is a member of the American Glaucoma Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  She specializes in medical and surgical glaucoma including glaucoma lasers, minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) and incisional glaucoma procedures.
